Western astrology: the signs and elements
Your sun sign comes from your birthday, and each sign has its own element, planet and traits.
The twelve signs
Western astrology divides the sky into twelve parts, from Aries to Pisces. Your sun sign is the one the sun stood in when you were born, and your birth date (Gregorian or Jalali) is enough to find it.
Elements and planets
Each sign belongs to one of four elements, fire, earth, air or water, and a planet rules it. The element shows the general temper: fire is passionate, earth practical, air talkative, water sensitive.
What you get
Enter your birth date to see your sign, its traits, its text and today's message. They reflect a tradition and are meant for enjoyment and self-reflection, not as a replacement for deciding.
